Sorry everyone. The last few days have been non-stop. I should have at least taken 10 minutes each night to post something. Call me slack.
I went into the weekend with one thing in mind "operation clean house". God only knows I wanted love to clean house. My day started out out 7 am. I was off and running in the kitchen. Top to bottom. Loaded the dishwasher twice, swept, mopped, emptied the frigerator and wiped it down, and wiped down the cabinets. Just as I was about start on the door I replaced and didn't finish, I get a call from my sister.
My sister is a whole story herself. Granted we have not had the best relationship, I have learned to let things go over the years. She was in need of a tire change because of a blowout. Her husband was at work and she had my nephews in the car. The ride was about 10 miles away, not too bad. When I got there I got out and looked at her SUV. I must have laid on the ground an hour trying to figure out how to get it down. I explained to her it might be on the back tailgate area. Only problem, the tailgate would not open do to damage. With that being said it was getting late and I had to get her on the road. We rushed to take the tire off and run to a tire store nearby that was closing in 20 minutes. These people were great, or they just wanted to get out of there. They did not waste anytime. About 30 minutes later she was on her way and I was going to the house.
When I got to the house I was wore slap out. Well guess that door will have to wait until next weekend. Other than that I finished a few odds and ends, but this day was over.
I promise to keep caught up folks. Have a great weekend.

Hump Day
I am one of those people that when I get down I randomly shuffle through the pages of the Bible. I know that the right verse will be brought to me. Today was no exception. I came across Luke.
Luke Chapter 15 Verse 17-"When he came to his senses, he said, 'How many of my father's hired men have food to spare, and here I am starving to death!"
I should be ashamed of being worried over making more money. There are so many out there who have no job, no food, no roof over there head. I have been given so much. I have a great wife and son. I do have a job. Just today I spoke with one of my coworkers who has not gotten a raise in over 2 years. He has 3 kids versus my 1.
As I read that verse it made sense to me what it was saying. I gave up worrying about money at that point. Today turned out to be pretty good. I kept busy all day. That made the day go by so much faster.
I have been working a lot of time on the computer lately getting my side business and website running. Let me just say, "wow", there is a lot of things I am learning about lately when it comes to the Internet and my computer. I did finally get my website up and running. Check it out if you get a chance. The website is www.healthyzoeliving.com
Thank you for those who have been following and keeping up with my blog. I appreciate all the comments that I have received. I am looking to improve my life and my blog. So keep them coming. Have a blessed evening everyone.

Some Setbacks Should Be Seen Positively
Well I went into the home office today to get my review and raise for work. Did not quite turn out the way I wanted it to. Review went great. All positive marks. But the other end that would have been great would have been the money part. I am not going to lie, I was upset leaving that meeting. Basically my raise was equivalent to $15 a week. I hate to brag on myself, but I think I am good at what I do and have been doing it over 15 years.
But today's economy has got everyone and everything down. That includes pay rate and raises. I molded myself into a person who hates not to give his ten percent at church. I let it get me down. No giving is on a limited bases. That is why I volunteer in the kid's area at church and projects like Habitat for Humanity. I feel like I need to make up my end. Yeah. My raise was not great, but at least I was given one by His grace. I can pay my cable and water bill each month now.
Who knows? Maybe God has me blogging about my life with him for a reason. If I can make one person change there mind about church, I have done a splendid job. This blog is like a diary, in away for me. It helps me to express my thoughts and feelings. I am not doing it to feel sorry for myself, or have someone feel sorry for me.
This also gives me a chance to talk about my diabetes. It is so important to start children in the right direction, with God and health. I could have done something earlier about my diabetes, before I had the problems that I have had. I was young and stupid. I ate what I wanted and drank what I wanted, including lots and lots of alcohol. It is not too late for me by far, but it is a long and hard road still, even at my age.
Well, this is what is on my mind tonight. Please have a blessed evening. I am going to spend some time with my big boy before he goes to bed.

Worn Out
It is Monday and I am already worn out. Since school has been out for the summer I have been getting up at 4:30 AM. Getting off early is good though. It gives me the opportunity to get some projects done at home. Why is today any different than any other? I can't even answer that one.
Blood sugar checked out at 230 this morning. Wait a minute. Let me backtrack. I did not have my traditional two cups of coffee this morning. In fact I have not had any coffee at all today. Still not sure if that has any reason to do with me being tired this evening. I had plenty of energy throughout the day today. Or maybe it was the fact that I had to spend almost an hour before I pulled out of the driveway this morning to dry up all the rain water that fell into our Wrangler overnight when it flooded. That was it. I cannot believe we allowed it rain in our jeep all night long. Oh yes it was wet from top to bottom and lakes were held up in some areas. I was a mad at first, then I though to myself that is what Wranglers are built for. That joker cranked right up and I was off to work.
Nothing really exciting happens while I am at work, but good things do happen. I am blessed to work with really good folks there. Despite not making much money, alot of days it is well worth it. I definitely work with a higher class of people in the school system. Not going to mention there names, but they would deserve it. My day consists of ordering parts for the school fleet, grounds, and buses. Very few people can say they do what they love and make good money doing it. But at least I can say I enjoy the job.
Well I am gearing up for a possible raise tomorrow. That would be awesome. I'll slip that into my prayers tonight. Well I am going to get ready for bed early tonight. I just had a big Mexican dinner and I am stuffed.
I would like to change gears for minute. Part of what helps me through the day is a great product that I am taking as well as taking. I was able to skip the coffee this morning because a product called Zoe Life, manufactured by Zoegetics. It is a powder form of 20 fruits and vegetables that contains no artificial sweeteners or preservatives. Just one packet is a full days serving of fruits and vegetables. For those who drink power drinks this is cheaper and better for you. Imagine all natural energy with 3 grams of fiber. I could go on and on about this product. I take it everyday. Just check out my website for more information on this great product by a great faith company, and more EVERYDAY products they provide check out my www.healthyzoeliving.com I will provide FREE SAMPLES to those who go to my contacts page, fill out your name and address. Sunday Is In The Books
Hello everyone. Today has been a great day. For those who do not know my family goes to 12 Stone Church (aka we are 12 Stoners). My Sundays are pretty much the same during the summer. My day starts off at 6 AM.
Once we get to church my wife and I check in the kids for children's church for the first service. 12 Stone teaches in series. Currently we are learning about Paul and all of his writings(or as the church refers to it as Paul's Blog) Just imagine all the followers he has for his blog. I am a little envious. If you sit back and think about it, that is what it is, a blog. People still following them today.
Something very rare happened today. In the one year and 10 months of my sons life, my wife and I have only had one other day besides today without him. I really did miss him, but sometimes parents need a break. His grandmother watched him today. My wife and I spent the day at the lake water park. We had a really good day. It is days like today that mean so much to me. My wife is awesome. Little things like spending time with my spouse an acting like kids. Parents really need that sometimes.
Oh well. Everyone have a great evening. I think I am going to get caught up with the new season of Big Brother on tv.

Wow What A Day!!!!!!!
Heads up folks!!! In case you have noticed I changed my blog title and have updated the look of the blog. I think my blog is becoming more than I could have hoped. It really is morphing into something great.
Let me start off by saying,"wow what a day." I learned how to hang sheetrock at the Habitat house. I only wish I would have taken advantage of something so good, earlier in my life. The satisfaction of helping others less fortunate.
I should have been more attentative to God earlier in life. It is amazing all the miracles I missed in life growing up. People tend to be resentful and say "where is God when I need help?" How can I say that? I was one of those people. I am 33 now, but it took me nearly all my life to check out what I was missing. I'm one of those people that went from making good money, to making less than half now. All the times I was complaining about my job, I was really being blessed with good income.
My son will know about God from the start. It is so important to teach our children about the great things that will provided for them in their lives. Tell them to take advantage of all the miracles that will come to them. The first time I" SAW A NOTICED A MIRACLE" was when my son was born. I said noticed. That is because I did not notice the other ones. I would encourage your kids to follow along with my blog and parents with kids at home.
I need to change gears and plug my company at little bit. I am selling a product called Zeogetics. Zoegetics is a faith based company based in Warner Robins, Georgia. They make a great product Zoe Life. It is a powder that is a mix of 20 fruits and vegetables in a full days serving. It is gluten-free, no artificial flavors, no preservatives, sweetened with a all natural Stevia sweetener. To learn more about this great product, please take time to check out my website. http://www.healthyzoeliving.com/ Free samples are available by request. Just go to my contact us page, fill it out with name and address. It the comment section just put the phrase "free sample."
Thanks so much for following along. God Bless, have a great weekend everyone.

Sorry folks I am late with yesterdays post. I was having internet problems yesterday. Let me start off again by saying please comment on my posts. It will help me make them better for everyone. Well I started my day yesterday with a count of 240 blood sugar. It has been getting better in the mornings. I have been working to get it down from the 300's I had been starting in. I am getting ready to go this morning the work on the Habitat for Humanity house my church is sponsoring. If you really want to meet some good people this is the place to do it. I am actually thinking about asking the director if he needs volunteers for Habitat through out the year.It really is a good cause, and the people these houses are being done for are really good people. Sorry I cannot write much this morning, but I have to finish getting ready to go this morning. FYI I will be updating the look to my page by requests. Thanks will update with a full blog for today, tonight, God willing.

Third Day
Good day everyone. Let me start off by saying that I did get a little criticism on my blog. Those who supplied the lashing were those who said it look I was trying to plug my website and business. Let's start off by saying that it is my blog of my life. But in good spirit I will refrain from mentioning my website. So, with that being said, lets get started. Today is day three and it is July 9, 2009. I need to be scolded for waking up with a 278 blood sugar level. I have a weekness. I am from the south and I love good cornbread. Stuffed cabbage and cornbread for dinner. Lets just say I treat cornbread like cake. So today did not start off too great. I went to get my morning coffee and sugar free creamer. NO SUGAR FREE CREAMER. I guess I do not get coffee. I cannot drink coffee unless it is doctored, the bad part is I am not a good person to be around without having coffee. I really need to appologize to my co-workers for being dragon man today. About an hour or two of being at work the caffeine headache set it. Finally lunch came around. Guess what, leftovers, that's right more cornbread. I need to be slapped. But I did make my day by reading my favorite verse. I've decided to randomly pick a verse from the New Testament and read it everday. Today I decided to start with my favorite verse:
2nd Peter Chapter 1 Verse 3: His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
It really does help to read everyday. Some people ask me why don't you just read the bible through. I tell them I try to relate each verse to the day in question. Oh well. Time to run, I want to play with my toddler son before he gets ready for bed. God Bless everyone. Thank you for checking in today.

I Need To Make This a Habit
Ok, so I forgot to do my blood sugar this morning. Somedays I feel like my life is in high gear. I'll admit, my time that is used to take care of my health is minimal. I really want to get my diabetes in order. Lately I haven't spent the time at lunch I set aside to read versus out of the New Testament. Really wanted to make this an everday habit. I am gearing up for a Habitat For Humanity day this Saturday. The church I attend is sponsoring this project. I'm excited to say I attend almost every Sunday. Things weren't always that way for me. To much of my time was worrying where the party was every weekend. Diabetes is bad enough, but the alcohol that I consumed surely did not help. If I had been on the right track my health would not be as it is now. But, I am hoping that this venture I am on to eat better, which includes all my days fruits and vegetables. The product that I'm using is Zoe Life. My energy level is through the roof. Check it out on my website www.healthyzoeliving.com Well thanks for keeping up with me. Please make suggestions. God Bless Everyone!!!!!!!

Helping Out A Fellow Diabetic
My name is Jason. I have decided to start a blog for everyone out there who has diabetes and is looking for answers. I am 33 years old I've tried alot of things that don't seem to work. I constantly wake up in the mornings with my blood suger between 250-300. The doctor has given me insulan and oral meds. I'm hoping with everyones help, we can throw so ideas around for maybe good recipes, good products, or even medication that might be working for you. We all have ideas. I appreciate any ideas that we can provide each other. I am actually just starting a product called Zoe Life. Zoe Life is an all natural product that gives you your daily fruits and vegetables in one powdered serving. It is sweetened with Stevia, an all natural sweetener. I can honestly say the last three days of taking has increased my energy, not my blood pressure or blood suger. Check it out http://www.healthyzoeliving.com/
